Eau Claire, Wis. – Prevea Health is pleased to welcome Dr. Apoorva Jayarangaiah, a fellowship-trained hematologist-oncologist with the Prevea Cancer Center at HSHS Sacred Heart Hospital.
Dr. Jayarangaiah specializes in the following services:
- Cancer care
- Blood disorder treatments
- Supportive care
“I believe in a patient-centered and patient-driven approach to care,” says Dr. Jayarangaiah. “The key to a successful treatment outcome requires participation from the patient and their families in the decision-making process and involvement of multidisciplinary teams, working together to provide quality comprehensive care.”
Dr. Jayarangaiah earned her medical degree at Trinity School of Medicine, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, West Indies. She completed a residency in internal medicine with Marshfield Clinic and a fellowship in hematology-oncology through Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Jacobi Medical Center. She is also certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Jayarangaiah sees patients at the Prevea Cancer Center at HSHS Sacred Heart Hospital, 900 W. Clairemont Ave. in Eau Claire. Appointments can be made by calling (715) 717-3300.
