Chippewa Falls, Wis. – Crystal Getchell, APNP, FNP-C, joins the team of family medicine providers at the Prevea Chippewa Falls Health Center, 2509 County Hwy I, where primary care services are offered for the entire family.
“As a family medicine nurse practitioner, I enjoy getting to know each of my patients and learning about their unique life experiences, values and beliefs,” says Crystal. “My goal as a health care provider is to stay current on research and evidence-based practices, giving patients the opportunity to get the best care possible.”
Crystal specializes in the following:

- Preventative medicine
- Medication management
- Acute care
- Chronic disease management
- Sports physical exams
- Health promotion and education
Crystal earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire. She is certified as a family nurse practitioner and medical examiner.
Prior to joining the family medicine team, Crystal worked with occupational health patients and employer services at the Prevea Menomonie Health Center.
