Obstetrics/Gynecology is a very diverse specialty. We deal with a wide range of health issues in women throughout their entire lives. I am a primary care provider, a surgeon, and an obstetrician. No other specialty can provide such a wide range of opportunities to help patients.

I believe my role as a physician is to help patients make informed decisions about their health care. Health care should be a partnership or team approach. The ultimate responsibility for good health rests with the individual. My goal is to provide information and guidance in making healthy choices, and to provide quality care. I chose medicine because I enjoy helping people and interacting with them on a personal level. 

I always welcome questions, so I encourage patients to ask them. It is important to me that all patients have a good understanding of their plan of care.

I am married with five children and I enjoy our family activities. I also like most sports, particularly hunting, fishing, softball, golf and football."
